Terms and Conditions
Booking a course
After receiving your completed application form with a deposit of 25%
we will contact you with confirmation of your booking. We will then
send you an invoice for the remaining fees and an acceptance letter,
which must be brought with you to the school on your first day.
Payment
Full fees must be paid before the course starts. You may pay by bank
transfer, cash or UK bank cheque. Sale Language School does not pay any
bank charges incurred through the payment of course fees.
Cancellation
The following charges apply if a student cancels their intended programme:
- 4 weeks or more course starts - 50% deposit
- 2 - 4 weeks before course starts - 100% deposit
- 1-2 weeks before course starts - 50% course fees
- 0 - 1 week before course starts - 100% course fees
Sale Language School reserves the right to cancel or change the course programme without prior notice.
Postponement
You are required to notify Sale Language School if you need to make any
postponement to the start of your course a minimum of two weeks in
advance. Should you postpone your course more than once Sale Language
School reserves the right to cancel your booking and apply the
appropriate cancellation charge.
Refunds
Course fees will not be refunded for absence, illness, early departure
or change of study hours or course once the course has started.
Students are strongly recommended to take out the appropriate insurance
to cover this.
Overseas students requiring a student visa
In the event of any student at the school having leave to remain in the
United Kingdom on the basis of their studies at Sale Language School no
refund of fees will be granted unless the cancellation is approved in
writing by the Home Office or British Consulate.
Sale
Language School will notify UK immigration authorities of any student
who registers for a course but fails to arrive, or having arrived, who
subsequently fails to attend their course.
Insurance
Sale Language School strongly recommends that students take out
personal possession, liability and accidental insurance for the
duration of their studies. Failure to have appropriate insurance may
cause serious problems in the event of an emergency or a claim being
made against a student.
In
the event of death or illness we do not except responsibility unless
the cause is shown to be negligence on the part of Sale Language
School. We do not accept responsibility for loss or damage to students’
possessions or any expenses incurred as a result of circumstances
beyond our control.
School Rules
Students are expected to follow the school rules on acceptable conduct,
which are displayed in each classroom. Breaking these rules may result
in expulsion from the school.
