Martin Buck - Director, EFL Tutor BA (Hons), CELTA, PGCE (Further and Higher Education), Masters (Adult Literacy/ESOL) I started my EFL career over ten years ago with Voluntary Service Overseas, teaching English and Methodology at a teacher training college in North West China. Since then I have worked in Further and Higher Education, both in the public and private sector. Spending three years living and working in a different country has really given me an insight into the challenges faced by our own students here in the UK, and also the huge benefits that learning a foreign language can bring. As a teacher I have gained experience teaching general, business, IT and exam preparation courses for a variety of different groups and age ranges. 	Wendy Cartwright - EFL Tutor With a background in teaching, Wendy transferred her talents to the EFL classroom in 2007. She enjoys meeting students from all over the world, and sharing life skills and experiences.
	Jen Roche - EFL Tutor I work as a Speech and Language Therapist and qualified as a Teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) in 2000. Before settling in Manchester I taught English in other parts of the UK, Europe, and South East Asia, which I loved. I have been a member of the team here at Sale Language School since 2007, mainly teaching evening classes. My professional language development and TESOL background helps me  support students at Sale Language School, not only to improve their vocabulary and grammar, but also to become fluent and confident English speakers.
	Carrie Wei - Resident Mandarin Tutor I have been teaching, translating and interpreting in the UK for the last 9 years. Before that I worked as an English Language teacher in China. I have worked with many college students and sixth form pupils here in Manchester, teaching beginners Chinese and GCSE/A Level, and also local businesses, training staff for specific dealings with China, or acting as interpreter for companies' visiting Chinese colleagues. At the moment I am studying a Masters in Teaching for International Business and promoting my own business Chinese textbook: Business Chinese 20 Essential Topics which was published in 2008. I think Sale Language School is a great place to start your Mandarin training, whether you are just learning for fun or want to improve and expand your business opportunities in China.
